FAQ: How long does it take for my E3600 power supply to achieve CC mode after turn-on?

The E3600 family will attempt to achieve CV operation initially, then, sometime later, CC operation.

All power supplies require a finite amount of time to transition from Constant Voltage operation to Constant Current operation. This time is dependent on the particular product family and the way the product is being applied to power the DUT. Generally speaking, the length of time for this transition can be from 0.001 seconds to >2 seconds, depending on product family and particularly the load.
